HUA HIN VINEYARD

Post by mikekaye »

Can anyone give me the directions to the vineyard. I am ok up the Pala-U road until I get to the blue sign saying Vineyard 17 km. After that I cannot find the turning to the vineyard. I end up at Pala-U.
Thanks for any help.

turn left at the big corss roads in the village just past that sign (you turn right to go the caves). If you're on your way back from Pala U, then turn right

Then just follow your nose and sense of direction. The road gets a bit bumpy in parts and you finish on the usual dirt track. But its worth the trip, so do persevere.

I was curious where it was as well and first look at their web site I couldn't find a map. Second look, they tucked it away on their 'Contact' page. Here's the link and looks like a pretty good map. Pete

Not sure that map is going to help you very much, it does not appear to extend to the Vinyard.

If you go to the Temple / Wat that has the big Image, (sorry, cannot recall the name), but it is off the by-pass road towards Pranburi, the Vinyard is well posted from there.

Or you could call into their shop in Market Village and get directions.

If you don't want to drive or don't have transport their shop in Market Village will take you on certain days, I think it's 200 Baht per person.

Hi,

Just take the Pala-U road. After 13 kms (?) you will cross the Hua Hin bypass (traffic light)

Go straight. After a few kms you'll have to take a left direction Wat Huay Mongkol.

Just before the Wat, take a right (You will see an entrance gate to Wat Huay Mongkol at your LHS)

After a few kms, the road will split into a fork. Go right, the road is not paved. There is a sign indicating HH Vinery.

After 2 or 3 kms (I don't remember exactly) you will arrive to a crossing. You have a sign indicating HH Vinery on you LHS.

The road is quite bad with lots of potholes

At the end of this road, you will arrive in a small village, just go right up to the vinery.

My advise : go during the week and not during the week end. The staff is friendly but unable to cope if there are too many people.

Enjoy your stay...

Went up there last January. The route was well signposted from the Traffic lights at the by-pass/Palau-U crossroads. Unless they have been removed just follow the signs. It is also sign posted further along the by-pass to-wards Pranburi.
