There is a advertisement on the HHAD web page regarding Home Alarm Systems.

The company called them self: Hua Hin Alarms & Security Systems

OK, lets get a price estimate from this company.

I sent of a email, and I got this answer very quick.

Not very service minded this company.
So much for calling themself Hua Hin Alarms & Security Systems. :o

Maybe the advertisement dont belong on the HHAD web page sinze this alarm company has a very limited operating/installation area.

strange, im sure super joe can clear it up, i know that others have posted on here who have used them, but not sure if it was in one of their properties. :shock:

could be a conspiracy theory :D

I also contacted to see if i could get them to check and maintain my Tyco system (it's appears to be a similar system to what they offered) but was advised they only work on systems they install which is fair enough.
I thought that if they were able to provide a local maintenance service it might of added to their abilities.
Shame i have to get people from Bkk every time.

Hi Gunnar,
That email you quote did not come from us, I am the only person who sends the emails and have absolutely no recolection of it, just searched the email account. The email is incorrect as we do not only install systems in houses we build, and the wording is not wording I ever use.
Can you please post more details up about this email exchange, copy/paste the full email, with the email address, time/date on the top, name on the bottom etc. You can PM me with it if you would rather not put it on here.

When you think about it logically IF we only installed alarms into our own project houses (which we don't but will be on the next phase) why would we need/be paying for 3 no. advertisements in town, offering the systems!?!?

We have had 2 no. enquiries to date, sjpthsuk posted one of them, asking if we can service systems that are not our own and someone else has installed, and I have politely replied that unfortunately we do not offer this service. We would not like to get involved in servicing, and then taking on the liability of systems that we do not know the history of, or how the installation was carried out.
We do not advertise this service on our advert page at all either.

The mystery is solved.

The advertisement that’s on the HHAD web page tells you that this is Quote "Hua Hin alarms, Hua Hin alarm system and Hua Hin secutity solutions" Quote end.
Well, this is not correct.
The contact info on the web page belong to a company called Kensington, and they are located in Bangkok and not in Hua Hin.

I have been in contact with the company Home Alarm System in Hua Hin, and they sad
Quote "They are a company called Kensington based in Bangkok, which is maybe why they did not want to come to Hua Hin.
That is not our company though, we have no association with them"Quote end.

Gunnar, you may have clicked one of the "Ads by Google" - these are not our sponsors and we have little control over them (though we can block ones we don't like). The HHAD advertisers list is down the right hand side of the forum front page and on the HHAD front page. We also give them target keywords to increase the chances of their web page with us getting into the search engines so the link text may not always reflect the name of the company.

If you send a email to the email address shown on the page admin.hhgroup@gmail.com
you end up in Bangkok, and not in Hua Hin.
