Scuba diving

So what is going on around here and where does it happen? This section is for discussion on local events, festivals, and holidays as well as activities and things to do.

Scuba diving

I am back to HH end of August, and a friend is coming with me this time.
He is keen to learn to Scuba dive. Is there any PADI or similar training available in or close to HH?

I've seen a Thai outfit down near Sport Villa that had a PADI sign up a year or so ago ... haven't seen it since and I believe they were affiliated with a Thai instructor at the Cabana in Chumphon. Aside from that there is nothing in Hua Hin.

I'd recommend going to Koh Tao to learn to dive, its the closest place with plenty of dive shops and dive sites - all you'll see around Hua Hin is mud!
