That doesn't surprise me, he was hardly in a sound state of mind/body for the last ten years or so.

The doctor has done a runner, doesn't look good. The Coroner report might unearth all kinds of things.

A report I read, sorry read so many can't recall where it was, stated the Doctor who was present was interviewed briefly immediately at the scene and will be interviewed in full later. His car was taken as at the time, the home was treated as a potential crime scene - standard practice seemingly?

I find all this outpouring of sympathy a little sickening.....the hypocrisy is choking me up....

So fast to condemn one paedophile who got caught, (Mr Glitter), yet so slow to condemn one who, because he had a lot of money could build a private peadophile theme park wet dream, abuse chldren there and have enough money to silence their parents and avoid press coverage.

So fast to excuse one sick twisted indviduals behaviour because of his disfuctional upbringing, yet so slow to apply those same rules to the less famous....or more to the point the less rich.

Despite havng more money and opportunites than most humans he contributed little or nothing of worth....just a mustard burp of instantly replacable pop songs...squanderng the rest on his little selfish fantasy world of lollypop trees and gumdrop forests, pills potions and plastic.

He does not deserve admiration...only contempt.

Screw him..... the worlds hypocrisy level just dropped a few points....

bring on the schlok stories now for a few years and lets burn down that shabby false icon...

I'm with you Sandman but just didn't have the guts to post it!

I'm in there too

Despite guys being really good performers and pleasing many, there private (not so private) lives are appalling. Certainly no role models

Applies across many professions

Cest la vie I suppose

Certainly in retrospect it wasn't a happy life. I woudn't want all that money with the problems it brought him.

As I stated before I was never really a big lover of his music, however the early years were quite tuneful.

The americans will no doubt treat his funeral as a royal event with all the pagentry etc.

Oh hum, a sad end to a sad life... :|

Michael Jackson dies

Not sure there will be a funeral Randy! It's now been reported that his body is to be plasticised by that German guy who specialises in 'still deaths' - and will be re-united with Bubbles, the already plastic chimp.
The O2 arena is said to be a fitting place in which to display the pair first, with MJ frozen forever in a 'Thriller' style pose.
I wonder where the money will come from for this, and whether ticket holders for the O2 concerts will be able to cash them in for the opportunity of an alternative viewing?
Personally I think the Tussauds of Rock in Piccadilly Circus would be a more appropriate venue. There are already some quite lifelike (is that the right word?) old rockers there. Who knows if that Freddie Mercury is the real thing for a start. I swear his armpits ming.

I was speaking to my elderly mother today and she was complaining that the programme she was watching on the TV was interrupted by a sombre announcement that made her think that something terrible had happened, when it was only Michael Jackson dying!

Something about all this stinks ! I have just listened to the 911 call. The guy making the call is very calm, unusual in itself, and he never tells the operator it is Michael Jackson ! The other bit also gets me. The operator asks where the person is and the reply is that he is on the bed. The operator then says you need to start CPR and to get the person onto the floor. The guy on the phone says that a doctor is already present and that he is doing CPR already. NOW as AN EFR instructor I know that the first thing you need to do is get the patient onto the floor before starting CPR. You cannot perform CPR on a bed as when you try to compress the chest all that happens is you push the patient down further onto the bed rather than compress the chest. Now if I know this then surely a trained cardiac doctor would also know this ?
I said a few months back that he would not make the start of the concerts at the O2 arena as he had still filed to employ a choreographer or any dancers and had not even started to rehearse. You only had to look at him to see he was in not condition to perform 50 straight dates and just lately they added another 40 dates. No doubt this will run for a long time but as much as I liked his early stuff if I hear another MJ track on TV or radio I am going to scream!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I never forget a face but in your case I'll make an exception!

heres a test applied a good few years ago to the collected works of Mr White by a mainstream UK radio show.

walk up to an average joe in the street

ask them to name 5 Rolling Stones songs....they can
ask them to name 5 Elvis songs......they can
ask them to name 5 Beatles songs....they can

ask them to name 5 MJ songs

errr....Thriller......werr...Bad was one wasnt it? ......errrrr .....that one about the tennis player.....erm the one about the rat?

bye bye mustard burp......

As Alex Harvey so rightly said....

Police say that Michael Jackson's death could be suspicious. They're currently looking for a Smooth Criminal, he could be Black or White, but he's definitely Bad and Dangerous.

They got fingerprints Off the Wall, and they Say, Say, Say there was a Man In The Mirror, so he has To Be There.

They would like Ben and Billy Jean to come forward, but they Don't Wanna Be Starting Something. Police say they Don't Stop Til They Get Enough as they found Blood On The Dance Floor, it's gong to be a tough case, but they will Beat It.

Police say it's a real Thriller.

As they said when Elvis died "good career move" his (MJ) compilation of greatest hits went straight to number 1 in the UK after the announcement of his death. :?

Glad to say, I never bought any of his records and I won't buy any now.

Some of the crap surrounding his death and the hysteria about what to do with his body is sickening, all the family are getting in on the act.

Dig a deep hole and drop him in, what more does he deserve?

I feel sorry for the kids and I don't just mean his.
I've lost my mind and I am making no effort to find it.

According to one of the texts I've received since he passed away, they're going to melt him down and make his remains into Lego. That way kids will be able to play with him for a change  :run:

"....One of Jackson's most lucrative assets is his stake in the massive Sony-ATV Music Publishing Catalog, which includes music by the Beatles, Bob Dylan, Neil Diamond, Lady Gaga and the Jonas Brothers...."

Can someone explain this. Does it mean each time one of those recordings is sold or performed, his estate/trust receives a royality.....forever? Pete
