Hilton

I like the Hilton, but it is expensive. 2000 plus a month and I dont know day or week rates.

Best in town by a long shot. Clean, professional, friendly staff, free weights & machines in a relatively spacious gym. It is well above the usual hotel gym that's for sure . .and very few posers! ( The only one I saw this month strutted in Monday as I was leaving. )

But having worked in gyms and been around them most of my adult life, I certainly know the type. . .stylishly ripped T shirt, bottles of some protein drink . .the guy who makes a lot of noise setting up his weights and lifting them to make sure everyone in the room pays attention.

The Hilton regulars are more like family . .people riding the exercycles, or doing the treadmills. . .light weight workouts etc.

Agree with Chas that the Hilton is probably the nicest. I was on an annual membership there for the first two years here. They also have tennis and squash courts and with certain memberships you can use their pool and get discounts in their restaurants. There is another one at the boxing arena across from the Grand Plaza that is not air conditioned and is for serious body builders and boxers (or so I'm told).

There are also several condo buildings that have gyms that allow outsiders to pay to use them. Other members who live in those places (Sport Villa?) will probably give you more information about them.
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?
