Can anyone offer advice on hotels or other places that allow outsiders to pay to use their swimming pool, preferably someplace north of downtown Hua Hin?
I have not been for some time, but the pool at Palm Hills is nice and you can pay to use it. I am not sure of the current price, but it was reasonable before, and mid week normally pretty empty.
Sport Villa has a nice pool that can be used by anyone. Last time I was there it cost 40 baht. On the southern side of Hua Hin but probably worth the travel.
Agree that both Sports Villa and Palm Hills are good. Unfortunately Palm Hills raised their prices from 50 to 200 Baht a day a few years ago. I don't know if there have been any other price movements since.
Sand Inn - more or less on the corner of Poonsuk Road and Soi Selakam.
November was 40 THB, Last month was 80 THB
Its a medium sized square pool that does the job..they will supply you with a towel too...
Just another option in the heart of Hua Hin
we have a pool in our small community that can be used by anybody. 30 bht per day. the name of community is Dusit Land 7. it's on the way to Hin Lek Fai, then turn to the right to the elephant village. pass 7 eleven to the left, then maybe in 1000meters you see Hanuman restaurant to the left and you need to turn to the right in that exactly spot. across the street from that restaurant. we have a shop there, you can buy some drinks, chips, beer etc....

Hello aghora. Welcome to the board. I've swum there a few times. You also need to turn right again half way down the track opposite the Hanuman since they have blocked off the tarmac road, then first left. Most developments will have a Community Pool.
Talking about pools, anyone remember the movie Caddy Shack when a kid threw a Baby Ruth chocolate bar into the pool? May be something interesting to do over at the Hilton some weekend. Pete
