Oh Khundon everybody must be so pleased that you did your financial transactions at Bht76 but frankly we do not want to know, the present position is as it is.

So many here are in so much trouble because of the foreign exchange rate and they do not need smart aXXXs rubbing things in.

You seem to have had more posts than anybody else in such a short time and I do wonder why

Pet who rattled your cage. I simply stated the rate, when I did my transfer. So blow it out your ear lady

I still transfer money to Thailand and get the same rates as you, so get off your high horse, before you fall off.

You don't mention those that got more than me, when they exchanged there GBP, I notice.

Or the fact that I am in UK and hit by the banking crisis, or would be if I had to try and get a loan.

Not an issue KD, intellectual conflict does happen sometimes on here, and there are often inference problems aswell as we are all just reading script on a computer screen. It can be hard to portray finesse/nuances/subtlety/certain opinion/where you're coming from/stance and others can always read you post incorrectly.

I often go out of my way to be as precise as possible in all aspects and think how I'd read my post if I was someone else, doesn't always work but it helps. The only ways we have to narrow it down is punctuation/emoticons and eloquence in word selection. It is easy to be misconstrued, it has happened to me many times and have got into trouble myself for it aswell.

BTW, pretty mild from GR there, you can tell his "personality" for the day by his word selection

. I got a "dressing down" today aswell in the Current Affairs forum and it was a short sharp post that did it while I was all "hot and bothered" after reading the link. However, posted again after I'd simmered for a while.

I agree with you, it is difficult at times to express in words when not face to face, however "AXXXS" as Pet put it, is not subtle and is, in my mind flaming and against the rules of the forum, that is why I gave her a mouthful, and will again if she insists on flaming.

There was nothing intellectual in her posts, there never is.

The fact that I got 76 Baht was down to a bit of forward planning but also plenty of luck, as I stated in my post.

Perhaps, for some illiterate people, that would not be plain enough. So I will make exceptions for them in future.

I wonder if she would have cheered if someone had posted a big loss on the exchange rate?

The last money I sent over about 3 weeks ago I got Baht 53 so hardly a profitable exercise was it.

Somewhere on this site, I read about a guy many years ago, who got 91 to the pound. That would have been a crime in her eyes also I think.

If she has to survive on her wits and a small pension, then she will find that both, are totally inadequate.

At least the Americans applaud success while, others try to knock it, mainly because they are total inadequates and have been failures all their lives. Lots of their types in Pattaya.

Maybe I will put it down to jealousy, as that type, are not worth wasting any time on.

Just looked at exchange rate 49.76, so back to what it was a couple of weeks ago.

I think it will drop to around 40 to the £, if nothing is done to stop it.
Still the wise people, will keep their money off shore and spread over a few currencies.
