USED BOOKS IN HUA HIN

Post by rampage »

Hua Hin finally has a used bookstore! Megabooks have converted the second floor of their Khao Takiab store (next to 7-11) to used books. The store is open seven days a week and shoppers wishing to sell or exchange books can do so from 2-5 pm, Monday-Friday.

On the main floor Megabooks still offers the latest best-selling paperbacks at the lowest prices in Hua Hin (B295) and now offers a wide range of used books, all at prices under B200. Free internet cafe and a comfortable coffee and gelato bar makes Megabooks Khao Takiab THE place to hang out!

Used books in HuaHin

Post by margaretcarnes »

A second hand book store and exchange in HuaHin is welcome, and well overdue. But KhaoTakiab isn't the most accessible of places for HH residents. Not all of them have transport, and having an exchange facility for only 3 hours a day seems a bit strange.
The other MV stall - presumably linked to the KT one? seems to be a better location.
Best of luck though

Used books also at the rear corner of satukarn square near the small soi.
I spied Peter Guralnick's "Last Train to Memphis: The Rise of Elvis Presley" for 200 THB.
This is the best, definitive biog of The King.
I didn't buy it as have read it 2x already.
