Merry Christmas to one and all.

I've eaten at BB's many times and never been disappointed

My reason for wanting to know the price is purely to inform friends who I have coming over for Christmas and want a Trad Christmas meal and maybe some Thai food as well in a place with a good atmosphere.

The problem is when they (my friends) say anywhere with the above and mid price. Well what is mid price???? Hotel prices, established restaurants with entertainment or a small restaurant/bar with a simple menue

Those of us that live here know the price range, ambiance etc. for sponsors and non sponsors alike. difficult to tell a visitor though

Do HH locals really make a decision about where to have the one special family dinner of the year based on a few hundred Baht ?
+/- a few hundred Baht, that's all it can possibly be in a restaurant in town, we're not talking about the 5 star hotel prices.

I don't understand

If averages help anyone's thinking, on this side of the pond in Pattaya and Rayong area, away from hotel averages about 850 for adult over 12 and 300 for child. I've looked at about 8 places now and they all seem to be in that range. Coffee/tea included but no beer or wine. Pete

Glad to hear it Bill. We're having it at home, otherwise it'd be the sort of place we'd go.

Where are the 2,000 Baht places in town Richard, that is OTT to me ?

My guess is that would be the big hotels like Hilton, Sofitel, Marriott, and Hyatt.
