Haven Resort Hua Hin
Haven Resort Hua Hin
I'm coming with my family in Nov & though of staying in Haven Resort but feel a little apprehensive cos can't find any reviews on it. I presume it's a very new resort? Can anyone give any comments/advice on this resort?
There's a map here:

Looks like you're by the airport!
BB, there are no guest comments in the link you provided - it seems to new to have reviews?

You're right
I saw the link, but didn't check it. When I saw it was Petchaburi, I thought I would never want to stay there anyway.
Just looked at the map again - I didn't realise that Petchaburi actually went as far as Hua Hin
So maybe its not as bad as I first thought

The Haven
We live practically next door to the Haven.
It IS technically Cha-Am but really closer to Hua Hin town, especially in its expanding mode.
We visited it a couple of weeks ago. Brand new! Nicely designed. Quiet beach.
In fact very quiet period. (Deserted is perhaps a better word.)
Its one of these "boutique" hotels. . .read not very large, very expensive and stuck in an out of the way place.
It is perfect for the Bkk businesman with a mia noi . . which is the market we figure it was designed to appeal to.
But as with the "Hua Hin" Sheraton just up the road, you are just NOT in Hua Hin! And the town proper is 15 to 30 minutes away( depending on the time of day) by tuk-tuk. (And I would not want a week long vacation here at the daily mercy of those guys.)
