In my opinion the white sands is ok but overpriced. Clean and fairly simple.

Re: Sand Inn and other town accommodation

Baan Chalelarn Hotel on Chomsin looked nice and had rooms for 1,000 per night incl American B/F. Chalelarn has nice rooms and a great pool overlooking the town but they cut the electric to my room because I was 1 hour late to checkout, the hotel was not even full. Also, check out Let's Seas promotions and packages, they have some pretty decent deals for what you get. Their customer service is top notch.

Re: When was your first visit to Hua Hin?

Re: Does anyone know Monsoon bar/restuarant

Also, seems strange that it is recommended on several hua hin guide websites? Do businesses have to pay to get put on such sites, even though they try to put themselves across as a "guide"?

Re: Luxury Hotels in Hua Hin

Lets Sea is a nice boutique resort. Much smaller than the big name hotels but it has a nice feel to it, perfect for a romantic weekend away etc..
