What is a good condo to rent that doesnt need transport? I dont mind a small tooktook ride.

Does anyone know if you get a better rate by transferring money into a bank in Thailand from the UK or better to bring pounds over? I'm thinking of coming over with just a few pounds then set up a bank account and get my bank to transfer more money over. Is this a good plan?

I was hoping to remorgage my house in the UK to buy in Thailand but right now thats not possable. My house is dropped in value by nearly 50% so if I retire in Thailand I will rent my house in the UK and rent in Thailand unless things change in 5 years.

I'm coming to Hua Hin December 15th for 2 months. Usually I stay in a hotel or resort in Phuket but heard a lot about Hua Hin so will give it a try. Is it better to rent a condo? Would I get a better deal for 30,000 baht a month in a condo for 2 months rent. Any help would be appreciated.

I am lucky to remember 90 baht to the pound and its now only 60. Thats why prices have rizen.
