How long does it take, Hua Hin to Krabi?

Plan on taking the family to the beach for two weeks in mid October. How are the sea conditions at that time of the year?

My family and I just spent two weeks at the Anantasila Villa. Great hotel and friendly staff. Very picturesque and tranquil. Right on the beach plus has a pool. Thank you for the Anantasila tip. Right on the beach and south of Chopstick Hill. I just made the reservation there. I wonder why they do not appear on the hotel listings' websites.

Looking for bungalow, resort or hotel on beach, Takiab Bay south of Chopstick Hill, for family with 3 children. Per the websites I have only been able to find 2, Takiab Beach Resort and Blue Wave, but they are not exactly on the beach.
Any ideas.
