I'm now finding myself going to the small food court just west of Big C on the Pala U Rd..
..usual good prices on beer & food, not as busy as the Soi 88 one, music played at a comfortable volume, & for those living on the Western fringes of town this is an ideal alternative to fighting thru' traffic both in & out.
(On the evenings I'm there at the moment I'm enjoying a full plate of chicken Massala+rice for 50b, & washed down with a large Chang for 60b)
Does this small food court have a name..??
One of my favorites at 88 was the lady who did ChickenTika Masala--Wonderful, best ever, huge serving for 70b, but now she has gone and I did hear that she had relocated to the Big C site. Not having music that is a threat to your hearing would be a BIG plus.

Yes she is there and will sell out if you are not there early on of an evening.
I took a quick walk around the place while I was picking up my masala the other night. Smallish food court with pretty much the same things on offer as anywhere else. Quiet without all the bells and whistles of the others. It's out of my way and if the masala was not there I would not need to visit the place. For those on that side of town it would be a good spot for basic Thai food.
Glad to hear you folks enjoying the lady's curry as much as I do..
..I think she's been out & bought a bigger pot..much less chance of her having to scrape the bottom now
Good food, good prices and a nice change to be in a smaller food court than Soi 88. Will definitely use again - Shame that Go Bang from Soi 88 food court isn't there with their steaks!

He'll just be checking his ferret.
Where is the Tika Massala shop located?
As you walk in to the food court from the Big C parking lot, how many shops down is it?
Do you have a name or picture of the front of the shop?
thank you
As you walk in there is a row of stalls in front of you at the back, she is about 3rd from the right.
Can't miss it as has a picture of the curry on the front of stall.
In case somone besides me did not know - do not look for anything to be open here before 6 PM. We stopped in at 4:30, on a Friday, and it was deader than my first five marriages - only 2 stalls open. We were told 6 PM is the magic hour
