Help Lost bar address

Post by shoeless »

Just got back from golfing trip.(4th in 3 yrs) and met up with a girl,
she has a sister working in a restaurant in Surrey , who she has lost touch with. I have a few Thai friends here so I will ask them to help. But like a prat,I've lost the address of the bar.

The bar is very small just up from near cross road near an Irish bar( possibly Murphy's).
The bars about 10-12ft wide no toilet or food, opposite a wrought iron fence(rental flats I think). There are only about 3 tables inside.
about 3-5 girls sit out side. The owner is a girl called Doh.Think it had the word "star" in the name??????

And no I did not get any promises or favours for this.I'm getting on and just felt sorry for her ,my 2 kids are about her age and I'd hope someone would do the same for them.

Shoeless,

I think I may know wher you are talking about but more info needed.

Was the bar the Ship which has since been renamed to the Dubliner. There is a new Irish bar two doors along called Crawfords. There is also P & P bar in that stretch of Soi Poolsuk. (Refer to the HHAD map). None of thos fit the description you give and they are the only bars in Poolsuk on that side of the road.

Opposite the Dubliner (ex Ship) there are many bars that could fit your description although I have never been in any of them. As for the wrought iron that coulbd be the temple gateway. I will have a wander later and report back. I live in that neighborhood..

I reckon you need to take a look at the map of this metropolis HH. Give us the name of the soi and maybe we don't have to guess any more.
However, maybe Guess will go out on a recon mission.
Report back to HQ and you may find some more details if you give us more precise info.

From the desciption, I doubt it.
More likely one of those small places that litter the Soi now. He's turning right from The Ship.

If i am right i think he means near El Murphys, eddies new mexican/irish bar.

The crossroads must be where you have Jungle Juice to the right and other small bars on the right going down the left fork.

Seem to remember a bar called Lucky Star, but not 100% sure.

I too believe he is talking about 'lucky star', it's a tiny bar set up in the driveway of the adjoining shop.
It's behind El Murphy's and directly opposite Mats Vegas bar.
It has no toilet as he described, you have to use 'funny girl' bar toilet.

whats the full address
That's a bit tricky. If you look at the map, the road between Binthabaht and Selakam Roads has no name.
