Went there last night and had the kebab and Tiger - very nice, done in Aussie style rather than UK so more of a kebab roll than the open pitta we are used to, but a lot easier to eat! They had sold out by about 10 pm so I'd suggest anyone planning on going next week gets there early.

I tasted one on the night they were first on sale and I can only agree with Wanderlust, they are good.

Fortunately, there are some asian products shops in my neibourghood and plenty of kebab's in town ...

Sold out by 9 pm tonight. They promise to have more available next week, and will cater to a growing demand. Also under investigation is the lamb kebab, looking a bit more expensive, but then again.......kebabs, beer, good music, good company, ....

The famed Kebab and Tiger Special at Goanna's is now available Tuesdays AND Fridays.

That's right, two nights each week at Goanna's for a Chicken Kebab and small Tiger Beer for only 100 Baht.

Carlito, Chicken is what they do best

, but after the kebab this Friday, come along again on Saturday and join in on the birthday party. Goanna's has been open a year

. Spinning pig, Thai salad, potato salad, Aussie green salad, and lots of good company, cold beer and enjoyable times this Saturday 26 Nov.

Yeah, jimmy I have to put together a longer list of fav spots, at least this visit I'll have enough time to check everything out there

I had a couple of beers with a gent that posts on this board last night, although having been to Thailand a number of times, he had not visited HH previously. He must have been favorably impressed, as he has sprung for a house there!

Sad news from Goanna's....The Kebabs have had to go from Friday Nights

but they will keep coming on Tuesdays

, and the bbq has moved from Sundays back to Fridays.
