Yes, yes, I know, but I'm serious!
When my sweet beloved and myself first got together she was stitching away at something and when I asked what it was, she said "cottage". Some weeks later I worked out she meant 'cross stitch'.
Anyway, now that I have a superduper new pc and skipping from website to website like a spring lamb, and have a functioning printer as well, I'd like to surprise Mrs DM with the ability to print out cross-stitch patterns. She gets this done somewhere in the market at the moment, and they'll make a pattern from a photo.
Anyway... there are now websites and downloads that provide these (sometimes quite pricey) services for free. Does anyone have any experience of them?

Re: Cross stitch websites...
I'm not into cross stitch but there are plenty of craft type websites around and I would start with QVC. You might be able to get it on satellite TV - if not just google it. They do plenty of demo/sales stuff 24/7.
Or try Hobbycraft, the UK craft retail outlet which stocks just about everything, and definitely sells plenty of needlework stuff. I'd be surprised if they don't have something online. It does seem to be a hobby which is regaining popularity.

A sprout is for life - not just for Christmas.

Why don't you try eBay? There are a lot of sellers that will post worldwide. You can get the patterns and all the silks too. Have a look at this link:dtaai-maai wrote:Yes, yes, I know, but I'm serious!
