Typhoons and tropical storms are usually easy to track. What's impossible is why it's raining at HHF's house on soi 94 and not at BB's house also on soi 94. :alien:

It happens all the time here. Richard lives only half a mile away, and he's been known to have been bailing water out of his 9th floor condo while we've been bone dry.

I think it must be to do with unusual atmospherics due to too many mushies

Has been raining at my house today again... loving it, nice light rain, no flood worries.
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

Where I live, it was raining from (before) I woke up and hasn't stopped once, not particularly hard, but overall more than 2 cm extra in the swimming pool.

Blimey. His condo must be at the bottom of a large hill. wouldn't fancy buying on floors 1-8 either....

I don't know if anybody is still up or not but about 10 minutes ago (2 a.m.) the sky opened up with fire and rain like I don't remember seeing before even here. My dogs are terrified and I'm sure the roads will be flooded in the morning. That cyclone that was passing over Vietnam a couple of days ago must have just hit Hua Hin!

The typhoon is long past, but there are thunderstorm cells around. Clear over here on the Rayong side but they're opening dams that are full, subsequently flooding highways, homes, schools and everything else. Rt 36 the main road from Rayong to Bangkok was flooded yesterday for about 3 miles.

Another strong storm will send things over the tipping point in my area here and in the eastern Bangkok area....Chonburi...Chachoengsao etc.

^ I'm worried about Richard. That post seems to have been cut off in the middle. Hope he didn't step into an open sewer while sloshing down bintabaht...
