Well the rate has been holding up nicely, thank you, and let us hope it continues with the Euro under such pressure

I hope so...the £ V Euro is better... great when travelling from the UK to europe, if it lasts.

I once made the mistake of buying a computer in Europe with a Franco-Belgium keyboard that had a whole row of those letters with hats on and a € key but no £.

The TT buying rate ie the rate you get when you transfer sterling to your Thai Baht account ( also at ATM machines) was 50.221 at the Siam Commercial Bank a few minutes ago - yet more improvement.

you guys reckon we going to get better than 50 to the pound? got some holiday cash to get only about 300-400 quid rest will go on halifax card. not sure when to get it. do i hold out for better price .......... damn you indecision.
