To those who are trying to get the Sweaty Socks one, you are nowhere close.
Extra Clue No1: Could be used as slang for a certain race of people.

if sweaty socks isn't ecosse, then it must be celtic?

there are plenty of places that are chock full of sweaties (take a bow Billy), but ecosse and celtic are the only ones I can think of with sweaty connections in the name

Yes, sweaty socks - Jocks. Ecosse is French for Scotland. OK,guys, apart from Ecosse & possibly Celtic, which other bars have a Scottish connection?

Sorry for late response on the French one.

Butterfly Rock and Lazy Daze were correct and as for the third, someone suggested that we extend this beyond bars before we ran out, so I did on the third but forgot to mention it first. Anyway the third one is not a bar nut a local well frequented establishment.

Here's another.

You'll get more than wings and peckers here and you'll have to pay the waitress not the steak.

PS is the sweaty sock one Scotties? It is gone now but was alive when Chelsea was here last.

I'm sorry, Jockey, I wouldn't have "spelled out" the connection if I'd realised it would offend anyone.

I guess I was thinking of my Mum & her side of the family (all from Scotland & all but my Mum still living there). They wouldn't have been bothered by the slang & would laugh it off. Apologies for not thinking more of other's sensitivities. As a family, we must just be thick-skinned, because your comment doesn't upset me either.

Perhaps we should have a definitive answer on the sweaty sock one and have a go at mine above. OR another two bars,

Wilma's hubby has made it to the top.
