Ok. Thanks for that. If I'd known I'd have definitely turned up earlier. The girl yesterday told me to come back today, anytime. I took that literally.

That is what I suggested in my edit to my registration post a couple of days ago. Get your number, do your business and then go back. It is good to hear it's still running like clockwork. :D

Announcement: Hua Hin Hospital COVID Registration.
Apparently quick and easy and no queuing
The registration desk at the main Hua Hin Hospital is in front of the Main Entrance, to the side of A&E entrance. It is open from 9am to 5pm.

Go to the desk with your Thai ID card or a copy of your passport picture page. Fill out the form , then take a seat and wait for your application to be processed.

You will be given a choice of AM or PM on your vaccination date. Vaccination will be performed on the 10th floor.

Handling of Thai, Foreigner, 60+ and the 7 diseases is similar to the Market Village & BluPort announcement posts.

I live in Prachuap Kirikhan town. Not Huahin. Given that I fulfill all of the criteria for vaccination. Am I eligible for vaccination sign up at market village etc or is is it intended that only denizens of Huahin be accepted. Attempts to obtain a definitive answer from Huahin hospital have been interesting in that I was told signing up was fine whereas my ( Thai) wife in a seperate phone call was told " Can Not."

Robert, if HHH are unsure, I doubt anybody on here will be able to give you a definitive answer. My take on this early registration in Hua Hin is down to the Recharge Project and is intended for Hua Hin citizens only. However, the only check at registration is the girl typing in the address you write on the registration form. From what I could see, you could simply write down any pucker Hua Hin address, and nobody will be any the wiser.

Yes you can
I live near Cha Am and went to MV to register for my husband and I, which I could have done, no problem, but their computer showed that we already have an appointment through the moh prom app (I didn't think it had worked out)
Just make sure you get there early

Apparently this is all just for registration for shots sometime in July. . .and no shots are yet being given at any location. Could someone clarify this point before I spend all day tomorrow at the mall. Thanks ( This is when this forum really proves its worth!)

Yep. It's just registrations at the moment. I don't think HH has been allotted, never mind received any vaccine yet.

Johnson & Johnson, which I believe has been approved in Thailand has had their single dose vaccine approved for use in the UK.

Immunity to Coronavirus Could Last for Years, New Studies Find
And meanwhile, the Chinese health authority has found that Sinovac loses most of it's protection after 6 months.

I'm sure vaccine has been allocated to HH. Whether there will be any AZ to distribute is a different matter.

Sinovac is still not WHO approved and Sinopharm is WHO approved, but I think not for over-60s with chronic diseases. Still, Thailand knows better eh?
