It's amazing what being a British LMA and press darling can do for you.

I'm so glad that Dalglish holds the press in such contempt. They still fawn around him though.

Throw me a biscuit please Kenny!

Yes, that is my plan as well, maybe. I had Carroll all season up to his injury then traded away to do some other things. His price is down now that he appears to be out until sometime in March. Similar to what you say above in general about new players, we may not see him play much at all this season unless 4th place is really a possibility towards the end. I think next season is going to be rock and roll time for Liverpool. I'm seriously thinking of moving house from the chilly northeast to the balmy climes of the west coast.  Pete

Carroll will be thrown straight in when he's fit, he's English, he's hard as nails and he knows the League.

No messing about, when he's 100% fit he'll be in.

I've heard he'll back for the West Ham or Man Utd game, He's already running and kicking a ball, although not with the squad yet.

This lad is going to be class, he hit the woodwork 3 times today, really unlucky.

I think when he's settled in we've got a real player on our hands, he looked shithot and always dangerous. :naughty:

That's good news. It doesn't bring back my banker though which continues to flee the scene week in and week out. :( Maybe next week. Pete

Quite a goal by Mr. Rooney yesterday. The goal keeper looked like he had concrete boots on. :D Pete

Well, Well, Well.

After Liverpool's win last week over Chelsea, had minor worries that they may catch up with us. That's thankfully been erased. City dropped points again. Arsenal-no luck. Come on Fulham!

5 teams in it for the Champs league and it's gonna go down to the wire I think. Spurs ,for the first time in a while, are churning out wins and having a bit of luck. Without Van der Vaart or Modric I thought the win away against Sunderland was a great achievement. Would be great to have back to back Champs league.
If it's within arms reach, there's nothing to worry about!!

I'm actually hoping that Torres completely fecks it up at Chelsea. One because Spurs need that 4th place, two because I just don't like how Chelsea counteract a drop in form by spending another fortune (Spurs also spend quite a lot, yes, but not silly money. Torres is over three times as much as our most expensive player) and three I just don't like the guy and it was a delight to see his make upped face looking embarrased and defeated in the bench after being taken off. The guy's form has been terrible of late so why he still thinks he's gods gift puzzles me.

On the other hand. I think we are going to see an extremely confident Rooney during the back straight of the league. A wonder goal against Man City will I think give him a hell of a lift. Sometimes all it takes to change the ways is a single confidence booster.

Wrong thread but, what channel will the AC Milan - Spurs game be on for Thai Tv. Will be up in the sticks for the game so THai Tv only. Cheers

Hero to villain in one easy (but expensive) move. I suspect Newcastle fans are thinking the same about Caroll.
