Brendan Rodgers certainly isnt hanging about with new signings Toure,Aspas and Alberto, plus being linked with Tiago Ilori from Sporting Lisbon and Henrikh Mkhitarayan from Shaktar Donetsk.
Looks like Pepe Reina could be going back to Barcelona then ?
Yeah, It's looking like Reina to Barca, I can't see us spending around 10 million quid on a keeper otherwise.

I really hope we get Mkhitarayan, he looks the real deal, get him in and Papadopoulos at centre back and I'm very happy. Obviously we also need to hang on to Suarez.

Not exactly far fetched is it? I mean, when was the last time Mourinho fell out with a club captain and 90% of the squad? Oh, wait......

Looks like we're getting Paulinho - a good addition 8)

BUT - will it persuade Bale to stay?

Seems very quiet as dm remarked

Agreed, a good attacking midfielder, but... another midfielder - we could field an entire team of the buggers!
We need at least one reliable 20+ league goals a season striker, preferably two.

Good player and a good addition, I just feel Spurs need a bit of craft, a Modric, Mata, Coutinho, not another Dembele. (obviously no slight on Dembele, cracking player)

Good box to box mid nonetheless.

Bale is staying. Paulinho and the great strikers that we are about to sign would not be signing if he's not there!

I see AVB wants David Villa but Levy is baulking at the asking price for a 31 year old.

Are there no younger strikers he could go for?

They've been linked with Leandro Damio before, he's more a proper frontman than Villa.

I like Villa, who doesn't, but I'd go for younger, just seems a big name to appease the fans.

I'd go for Benteke if you're spending a few quid, it's not like Spurs are going to be playing intricate Football, it's going to be pacey and direct.

Or Luis Muriel.

Why not teach Adebeyor the offside rules and stick with him?
