Amazing how they can predict the weather 37 years in advance

I expect the vikings will be building their boats for a mass migration back to Greenland to continue their farming.
I wonder if their tractors will start up after all this time?

It's called climate lag:

"The mass of the oceans is around 500 times that of the atmosphere. The time that it takes to warm up is measured in decades. Because of the difficulty in quantifying the rate at which the warm upper layers of the ocean mix with the cooler deeper waters, and the rate at which ice sheets disintegrate, there is significant variation in estimates of climate lag. Estimations of the time required for 60% of global warming to take place in response to increased emissions vary from 25 to 100 years. I suggest the weight of evidence suggests it is lies somewhere in the mid range at around 40 years."

Climate Lag? More like the normal progression of a retreating glaciation, no?
There's no denying it's not as cold now as it was 20,000 years ago so the world is warming up, but it's not exactly Fahrenheit 451 and an open Arctic Ocean is probably not going to end the world this time, as it has failed to do so all the other times it was ice free so what is the problem ?

Probably not and I wouldn't worry about it here anyway, the Philippines do a good job of absorbing the worst of them.
