If the words from his pen are anything like the ones from his mouth, it'll be absolute rubbish. The man's a 2 faced liar, who should not be listened to. :cuss:

It's just a pity that he's quite a good manager.
Championship Plymouth Argyle 1 - 2 Leeds Utd

Dalglish has appointed him, I hear he's a great coach.
Well he's a Chelsea legend for a start! Wise move from Kenny, he was with Ranieri (spelling) before Mourinho joined. The great one stated he would review all the staff, meet with them, see what they do before deciding who would go and who would stay. At the end of the process Clarke was 1st team coach - enough said really and sat with Mourinho at games. He then guided Grant, Scolari and I believe, but happy to stand corrected, the erm, dutchman ( ) before deciding he was getting stale and needed a new challenge.

Mind you, we got another great coach back with Wilkins.

I personally can't see how his time with Zola at West Ham goes against him as they had a poor squad to work with and initially did well.

Can't work out if it will be that ex-player duo that will come back as managers or Di Matteo/Newton?! Not so sure I fancy Wisey & Poyet!

you kind of answered the point in question
anyone can be a great coach or trainer when you have a squad of multi million pound players :|
different kettle of fish when you have to 'work' with limited resources, on a shoestring budget

I agree with you to a point - but its not always the case is it? A lot of the top managers do have a track record and get to where they are because of that. But they can still lose their edge and get sacked.

Its also about style of play - okay, we've had a bad run recently but Chelseas double winning team of last season played to a much different style to Mourinho's 2x league champions.

But I agree that someone like Zola would benefit from players who can put into action what he wants, and if that means playing with only half of the flair of the great man himself, then that would do for me! :thumb:

Silly man, once again. :cuss: Weeks ago I said I should make a pick, then do the opposite. I should listen to myself. Pete

For some reason I am not looking forward to the Merseyside Derby on Sunday.
We are now starting to play well and Liverpool are going through their worst season for a long time and cannot string 2 wins together.
But something tells me we will go to Anfield and bottle it when we all know Liverpool are there for the taking!!!

Maybe Kenny should consider his future, 0% wins, goals conceded three times more than scored.

don't know if it's connected . . . . . but the rspca have been asked to investigate reports that a large crowd gathered and watched & cheered as 11 donkeys were being beaten & abused in blackpool last night

Sometimes I wonder about scouse fans! On the way to work this morning, here in a wet southern England, I was listening to five live (beeb) and throughout L'poo's problems they have dragged this guy on for comment, he runs one of their supporters clubs - his view on the game v Blackpool? Wrong team, wrong tactics - I kid you not. So Woy didn't work and already king kenny is messing up! He said something about we have to stick with him to the end of the season.

Sometimes I wonder, I really do.

If they wanted someone to perform miracles, they should have sought out a certain JC!!!
