[quote="dtaai-maai"]Stoke 2 Spurs 1

.
Adebayor had an off night (I like him, but he's offside too much and misses a lot of good chances - is he a fair weather forward?),

Ask the fans of Arsenal, Man City and Real Madrid. I would say yes.

Those decisions even got 'Arry complaining about the ref.
Stoke well deserved the first half - but the ref should have been sent off in the second

Such is footy - bring on goal line technology!

Yes, but you know sweet FA about football :D

Great display by spurs, the result didn't go for us but the team showed character and worked their socks off!

Spudsalona eh?

Honoured to be quoted in the same breath as possibly the best league team in the world. :bow: :bow:

One of you Spurs fans once said, unlike Wenger, Redknapp never whinged. Did you see the after match interview?
Having said that I think he had a point. Shame really.

Yes, 5 goals in 4 games, BaaBaa - it's what we at Spurs now call a bad patch! :wink: :laugh:

EDIT: Arcadian, 'Arry didn't whinge, he forcefully made some very valid points... :naughty:

Yes it was me who stated 'unlike Wenger, Redknapp never whinged'
Which is why I also stated 'Those decisions even got 'Arry complaining about the ref.' - quite a rare moment - but I would hardly call 'The Ref' had a bad day' as over the top.

I'm an expert on refereeing though :wink:

So to summarise;
Shawcross grappling Kaboul to the ground = pen, if given, Kaboul wouldn't have been booked for complaining & wouldn't have seen red
Shawcross elbow off the line = pen
Someone else almost catching the ball in the 6 yard box = pen
Adebayor goal clearly onside.

Like i said, i thought the ref was excellent :laugh:

Well it's nice to know that Arsenal supporters like to watch a better class of the beautiful game. I for one turn over when ............ you get my drift :guns:

Yup! :D

But I still thought we started with the wrong tactics / formation, but at least this time, he did something about it! We ceded so much space that I thought we were in for a re-run of the Liverpool game. :(

We'll probably lose our next match?

I imagine you were fearing the worst after the first 25 minutes :shock:

Had battenburg given the pen for the foul on Silva, which was pretty much nailed on, i think it would have been game over :|

keeps it interesting at the business end of the table :D
