Clean Hua Hin's beaches movement - Trash Hero

This coming Sunday 27 September, the Beach Heroes will be meeting near the Pattaya Ferry Terminal on South Takiab Beach at 4pm.
NB: Likely to go on until 5:30 because of brand checking.

All Heroes, both old and new will be welcomed. No experience necessary. Please bring your own gloves and wear mask.

It's a bit late this week, but the report from the Beach Heroes about last Sunday's clean up near the Pattaya Ferry Pier is just in.

15 Beach Heroes, including one child cleared 30 Kg of trash.

The photos show the work being done towards a Brand Audit i.e. identifying which brands litter most. Great job guys.

An Appeal From the Beach Heroes

They are looking to borrow a boat or kayak to get under the pier to clear the floating debris that lives there.

Meeting point at Aun Ai Rak coffee which located in the area of Khao Pi Tak community because it's convenient for parking space. Then we'll pick up trash around the house project called Tropical Vision. You'll able to go either through Soi Hua Hin 102 or Soi Hua Hin 94.

The Clean Up Heroes don't seem to have had so much fun yesterday. They posted the following:

อยากจะเปลี่ยนชื่อซอยนี้ใหม่ว่า "ซอยอโรม่า" เพราะทั้งกลิ่นขยะ กลิ่นขี้หมา โชยตลอดชั่วโมงที่เดินเก็บ

Shall we change the soi's name? To Soi Aroma. Since there are couple smells, trashy and shitty...for the whole hour.

It sounds quite horrible.
