If you are out and about for new years eve, you can donate my beer to the girls in the Sugar Cane if you so wish.
Happy and safe New Year to all in HH.

Chelsea, happily donated during the wee small hours in the company of 4 kilted fellow Scotsmen. A great New Year and Happy New Year to everyone!

To continue the theme I was in three bars last night. Johnnie Walkers, Sugarcane and the beatitude that transcends the cycle of reincarnation; characterized by the extinction of desire and suffering and individual consciousness.

Yours is Nirvana (don't the bar spell it Nervana?), Jockey, but I don't know which one Teabone's elderly Italian is :?

Thank you so much for the offer, Ken. Sponsoring 2 dogs is very generous! Thanks! :thumb: Do you want to choose them or do you have a specific type of dog in mind? PM me & we'll arrange it. :D

Sounds like everyone had a great time last night. Guess, can you give my beer to your girls, same as Chelsea's? Not sure when I'm next out in HH :(

A Very Happy New Year to you Dawn. Thanks for all your support and help for the Kid's Xmas Party. Farook was great entertainment, and as an organiser of the event no fee is required for his attendance. Please tell me what your expenses were, I would like to put a tally on the event, it would help for next year.

Best of luck for you Dawn and as always, you can count on us for any help we can give for 2007. Keep :D Smiling, this year everything will work out for you, I can just feel it. God Bless. Dave

You (or anyone else) might like to exercise your grey matter with this -

'The old Italian was correct.'

All the very best to all for 2007 / 2550.

Teabone.
It's got me stumped so far . I need to visit more bars.

Actually one of them was a Sassenach in disguise, A Geordie. My joke about him really just being a Scotsman with his brains removed and the William Wallace went down like a political statement to an NCO.

A very nice bunch though and conclusive proof that the Scots are NOT mean.

I am pretty sure this is Romantic Bar - to spell it out, a Roman is/was an old Italian, and a tick is normally used to show something is correct. assuming i am right, here is mine;

OK Wanderlust - I have spent tooooo much time thinking about a bar named after the lunatic ex England footie captain, and the only glimmer of hope I can offer is - The Banana Bar (he was, after all, occassionally very good at bending them!).

Me also. A raving Beckham.

Raving as in Flaming 'o' or Pink Flaming 'o' come to that, or maybe Lucky Shot. Put us out of our misery will you.

The closest I've got is Raving as in 'Queen' and Beckham as in 'Victoria'.
If that stands up (it doesn't for me). Then my next one does.

It might be easy for you, but your the most lateral thinking person I've ever jousted with. My French is pretty good, but even I after a literal translation of your 'casse-tête' only fail at even finding a hint of a clue.

Obvious answers would be Olala, or Bon Bon, but I'm sure you are much deeper in your reasoning than that.

Open up a bit and we might have a chance.

French......Monsiuer.......Mon

Party .......Social event......Do (a northern English expression)

Communist.......Red

Is it the Mondo Bar, now the Red Bar ???????

JW - I am thinking that there could be more than a hint of a family conection here, surely not Dick's Office - White collar workers work in an office, and most Y-front wearers are in posession of......
