Didn't you do maths at school? A (UK) Crown is worth 25p, so 5.3 Crowns must be worth £1.325 :D
Championship Plymouth Argyle 1 - 2 Leeds Utd

Points 46; Position 23 RELEGATED

They pay about £7 a beer though according to 2 lads I was talking to in HH, so still more spending power than than the £.

My GF has finally managed to withdraw some cash using Kasikorn.

I'm wondering if it's because the ones that charge the fee aren't programmed to ask for the fee when it's using Thai language so it just spits the card out. :? :? :?

That's all I can think of and it wouldn't surprise me. TIT.

I've told her to try in English next time.

10 Norwegian Crowns are equal to 0,97 GBP or quid as you call it. What is the difference between squid and quid ? Just wonder !

What is the max that can be drawn out in one go from ATM's now. I rember it used to be 15,000Baht a time, then you had to put the card back in.
Is that still the case?

And at BoAY you can do it twice a day (even back to back) for a total or 40,000 per day.

That will depend on your own bank's personal card limit as well of course - I can't withdraw more than 15,000 baht at current exchange rates.
