As 'Arry has often said - 'Football's a funny ol' game'
When I think back a couple of seasons and the names that I used to call Adebayor when he played for the 'arse...............
Well - 'Arry and Adey have got this old cock crowing again - and it feels good

Let's hope it goes on a long time 8)

One of the things I like about Adebayor is that he really seems to be enjoying himself. He's got a great big beaming smile that must be infectious. Didn't he used to be a shit stirrer?
Also, Modric seems to have settled down and is his old self again. He'd be a mug to go anywhere in January.

2 nil away to Villa - not bad not bad!

What a great season this is shaping up to be.... most exciting start for many years. What with Arsenal all but down and out at the beginning, now looking like a force to reckon with.... United's blistering start (possibly best start by a team that I can remember) now looking a little shady in comparison, City flying high at the top for the first time, Newcastle up in the mix but for how long, Liverpool looking pretty damn strong while Chelsea faulter (sure they will jump back up though)....

It's a beautiful game...

COYS

I've been playing with the BBC predictor thingy that Terry posted the other day. Thought I'd give you a laugh with my predictions.

End of Jan:
Team Played GD Points
Man C 18 - 42 - 52
Spurs 18 - 22 - 46
Man U 19 - 26 - 44
Newc 19 - 12 - 38
Arse 19 - 9 - 38
Chelsea 19 - 10 - 35
L'pool 19 - 10 - 34

End of season:
Man C - - 84 - 110
Spurs - - 53 - 97
Man U - - 52 - 90
Arse - - 26 - 77
Newc - - 19 - 73
L'pool - - 21 - 70
Chelsea - - 20 - 69

Bottom 3: Wigan, Blackburn and Bolton by a considerable margin.

Okay, help yourselves! :thumb:
I accept that my glasses may be just a tad rose-tinted as far as Spurs are concerned, but I've tried to be as reasonable as my natural bias would allow.
Realistically, I reckon we're hot favourites for a top 4 spot and a pretty good bet for 3rd.

Have a play with it, it's a good laugh, and we can all dream.

EDIT: sorry about the format, it was much clearer in the draft

I have to admire the loyalty of true Spurs fans, unlike the traditional top 4 they don`t seem to have glory hunters following them. Mainly because it`s so long since they had any I suppose.

Adebayor was a big hit at the beginning at Arsenal, Man City, and Real Madrid but the gloss soon wore off. Maybe `Arry knows how to handle him long term.

Interesting that the Manchester teams, particularly City, who are sweeping all before them in the Premiership, seem to be unable to achieve the same dominance in Europe. Let's hope their confidence is dented... :naughty:
