Not bitter, just hoping as it will take points from our rivals for that top 4 spot. However if we don't turn it on today at Hull I think that it maybe a lost cause anyway.

Man U are trying as hard as they can, not to qualify for the Euro Champions League after yet another defeat. Tomorrow's game between Man C and Chelsea will be a good pointer to the eventual Premiership Champions and unless Chelsea can stop MC in their tracks, my money is on them.

So, what are we (well me anyway) hoping for tonight, a draw plus at two players from each side being sent off for violent play, thus missing the next three matches. C`mon you re-ef.
I've changed my mind a little over the past week and, despite the gift that keeps on giving with Moyes at the helm (The ever loved manager for the rest of us .)...
...with Rooney and Van Persie just coming back from injury and sure to be at full match fitness soon and Mata and Januzaj (the latter inexperienced, sure, but has been a bright spark for them a fair few ocassions this season) floating around the middle and beginning to click (something we hope doesn't happen by the by) anthing could happen for them over the next few months.
I just hope Spurs start scoring some goals to be honest. There must be some long standing record we have matched or broken with our goal difference and the 'kinda respectable' position in the table - you know - going back to 1892 or the like.
I really get disgusted at much of the officiating in the PL. See what happened to Andy Carroll this week. If there was ever a sport that needed video replay and extra review officials in the booth to confirm or overturn on the spot, it's PL football. The FA sits there and acts like F'ing demigods. Too much power and too much of an attitude for my taste. F'em all. Pete

I'm absolutely amazed that the FA did not rescind the red card after review, but just read that his 3 match ban has been confirmed. In this particular case, I don't blame the ref too much as in normal play it looked as though he could have elbowed him (Chico Flores), but on the replay you could see quite clearly there was minimal contact and nothing to justify the play acting by Flores who looked like he had just received a right hook from Tyson - talk about cheating to get a player sent off, it's this that is spoiling the game, same with all the shirt pulling that nobody seems to want to stamp out.
For such a,supposedly,high tech game some of the decisions made by the FA after the event are quite amazing.
Surely,if there was any justice,Carrolls red card would be rescinded and it would be Flores facing a 3 match ban ?
Laudrup sacked by Swansea....bit of a surprise.They havent been too clever this season but doubt if they would have been relegated.
And quite often these teams who have a soiree into Europe do struggle in the league.Look at the likes of Birmingham,Stoke and Newcastle in recent seasons.Maybe more to his sacking than meets the eye ?

You look at any sport on the planet over the past 50 years it's obvious that the skill, size, speed and power of the competitors has increased, perhaps 3 fold. Whereas officiating in football hasn't kept up. Has there been any changes at all to it besides the recent goal line video development? The FA seems mired as well...strike that....is mired. Booth video review by an extra official would take no longer than things take now to reset and begin play again after an alleged foul. I'm afraid however the FA would see that as a threat to something.....their "traditional" way of doing things perhaps. Pete

Whilst I don't disagree with you Pete, I'm still not convinced it's necessarily the answer. In this case the FA have reviewed the sending off and for some reason known only to themselves, have upheld the decision. I wonder what would have happened if on the day, the same review and decision had been made...........I'm sure both the West Ham players and supporters would have been incensed!!
