Use the app and you will be able to see if you're registered.

I'm happy to do some screen shots, but you must be able to copy your name in Thai from the id card. I'm not going to waste my time if nobody's interested.

I have, and I am, but fear I am only confusing thing.

Thanks for offering to do it but for me personally I’ll wait and see what transpires

I'm reading today that Thailand is targeting 11.7M wrinklies in the first vaccination phase + 4.3M people with at least one of 7 underlying illnesses. They've managed to register 1,548,578 so far. OK, some will be afraid of the vaccine, but IMHO they need to consider the target population, and how they are doing this registration. Its not easy.
As I see it:
They started with community registration. My wife registered.
They produced a QR Code, inviting people to check they are registered. We checked my wife's registration, she wasn't registered. How many other wrinklies think they are registered but for whatever reason don't understand QR Codes, or don't have a scanner? So how many others think they have registered, but aren't?
They produce an app to register. It isn't easy, and crashed at least once. My daughter-in-law is quite competent with IT, but it took her several failed attempts, and she had to do a lot of research/reading to successfully register.
How many have simply completed the fields on the app and now believe they registered?
The only way you really know you are registered is when the hospital phones you with an appointment.
Of course there is the QR Code at bullet 2, but that even shows me as being registered. How much faith do I have in that output? Maybe 10% reliability.
This is Thailand, and I'm afraid they are still trying to use technology on an unprepared demographic, who in many cases will not have the knowledge or the tools to register. They need to go back to community registration if they want success. They started community registration a long time ago, for a vaccine programme that still doesn't start for 4 weeks. They need to take a step backwards and analyse why their registration programme is heavily under-subscribed.
There are benefits to community registration. Before administering the vaccine, they need to know a lot of information/undertake basic medical checks. Do they really want to waste time doing this on vaccine day? With the numbers they are planning to vaccinate, there will be a massive log jam to get to the needle. This should be done beforehand to facilitate smooth mass vaccination, which isn't over-burdened with red tape.

My wife got her appointment yesterday when the hospital called her.
I've just made mine via Mo Phrom in LINE. I fully expect to be thrown out before the appointed time but you never know. It's still a month away so we'll see.

You'll be going there before I will, I think, when you take your wife so it will be interesting to see your observations.
They told my wife that she'll be vaccinated in the car park building 10th floor and that we can park in that building as well.

My wife is 9th June, but she was just told Hua Hin Hospital.
The car park building 10th floor is an interesting location (I thought so when I read the poster). That is currently a field hospital, and it was well used when I had my eye check-up. Washing was hanging out of the windows and we could see the patients wandering around. I guess they must be confident the patients will be gone by your wife's date.

It's the 9th as well. I would certainly hope it's cleaned up well before then.

Count yourself lucky - that's the area they were saying was like a 5* hotel. You must be privileged

Your clearly not alone about get jabbed or not
I’m quite prepared to be vaccinated but at the moment, the uncertainty of what’s available and when, is steering me away from rushing to try and register. I’d be prepared to get the AZ jab but not the Sinovac - hopefully in a month or so, things will become clearer

I think they've restated that over 60s will get AZ.

The thing is that things have been stated, restated, contradicted and as yet nobody is totally sure if/when foreigners will be eligible for the jab. I’m sure it will happen and when it does, I’ll decide what’s best for me.
