IMHO last night's quiz was the best I've been to in Hua Hua. Steve put in a few more easier questions than normal (or did we just know the answers for a change?). Everybody felt involved, and it was a really well fought contest to the end. Of course, after 9 rounds, the clever guys are going to forge ahead, but a lot of tables were in with a shout as we went into the final round - excellent. Thank you, we thoroughly enjoyed it.

The Johnny's 56 team worked well again, keeping the drinks flowing with their usual table service. The half time food of cottage pie and cheese toasties was well received also. I even tried a mouthfull of the cottage pie - not as good as my wife's , but very nice all the same.

It was nice to put another face to a forum name when Bonnielass briefly introduced herself.

Date of next quiz was announced as 16 Jan 14.
