I hope he makes me eat these words, but so far, Kane is a liability.

I've resisted the urge to watch recordings of the weekend's rugby and will no doubt suffer for it... I did tell the LHG I was going to watch some telly in bed to send me to sleep as I have an early start tomorrow.

JR Williams - are we sure Spain don't have a Welshman in their ranks?

We'll have to wait until at least the 80th minute for an English sub.

Certainly NEVER my star man. At least we've got 11 footballers on the pitch now.

Absolutely. Once again Southgate's team only started playing when they went behind, then when we equalised it was back to playing for extra time. IOnly 2 subs unril the last few minutes. It would have been a travesty if we'd equalised again. Hopefully the next manager can persuade his team to play positively and with a sense of enjoyment.
This is the way

Honestly, I think, England did well in the tournament. They were not the best team but to be in the second place in the end was a great achievement. Your manager did well, the team just is not good enough. I honestly don't understand, why you folks always blame the manager, not the players.

World Cup semi. Euro final. World Cup quarter's. Euro final...

We've been eating good recently as England fans, it's on its way, just not yet. I'm gutted, but not as gutted as I've been in previous tournaments as I've no doubt we'll be up there again next World Cup. We won't be waiting another 58 years, that's for sure. A lot of outstanding young talent.

Cole Palmer! It was widely known Chelsea got a steal at 40 mil when the transfer went through, but no-one foresaw just how much of a steal they got!

Kane the worst player in the squad by a country mile this Euros. Stunk the place out.

Good God does Lineker pi$$ me off - can't stand the pr!ck. So much for the pre-match, will tune in again "After 8" (seems to ring a bell).
I, for one, feel quite the opposite. I could start cheering for England if this monstrosity was not around. I know, some of you will do it even more now. I've talked with many of my friends and they feel exactly the same, it's just pure arrogance to claim that one particular country would be the "home" of football. Sorry if you are offended.
Gary Lineker, the iconic former England striker, has taken a bold step ahead of the Euro 2024 final by banning the phrase “football's coming home,” reported by GOAL. With England on the cusp of a historic achievement, Lineker believes that avoiding any potential jinxes is crucial. The chant, popularized during the 1996 Euros, has been associated with heartbreak and disappointment, most notably in the Euro 2020 final when Italy defeated England in a dramatic penalty shootout at Wembley Stadium.
