I'm not sure this clarifies much, except we have to go to Bangkok twice when it suits them.

It says one vaccination centre will be in Bangkok. It doesn't say there will be only one vaccination centre.

In any case the stupidity and need to make simple things complex is sounding. Hua Hin will have multiple vaccination sites and I'm sure other places will be the same. Why not use them?

It could be read 2 ways, although I agree it doesn't say 'a lot'. However, the man who usually does the brief and the quotes are attributed to didn't actually do the brief today. It was the young lady who stands in for him. If we believe her, things are looking a lot brighter for the Farang community. We just have to be patient, and we will be included in phase 2.
I actually said to family as I was battling with registration last weekend that the system needs an upgrade to cater for Farangs. She said as much today.

If I understood the CCSA. Until the online app is sorted out, farangs in high risk groups should register at a hospital.
So who's going to be the first to try again to register at HH Hospital. So far, afaik, farangs have been turned away as 'not entitled' to register. There are plenty of us that fit the bill - over 60 and/or with underlying problems.

You couldn't make this crap up - it changes with the wind.
But isn't that what she said, or have I got it wrong?
All in the risk groups will be treated regardless of nationality and foreigners should register with a hospital until they get the online registration improved.
So what's "changed with the wind?"

Yes, it's what she said, but these so called news services are changing with the wind. If they've got nothing helpful to say, they should say nothing. Anyway, it looks as though solutions are being found now, so there seems to be a light at the end of the tunnel.

Let's hope it gets approved by the Thai FDA, then. As of a couple of days ago, it still hadn't been approved.

Firstly, they need the government to buy the vaccine on their behalf. Vaccine manufacturers will only deal with governments. The government has implied that they'll use a government dept to assist in the private purchase of vaccine.

I suppose the queue to buy the vaccine isn't very long, given that there are only so many countries, but each order in the queue is likely in the millions of doses. Those at the end of the queue are likely to have a long wait.
