Chelsea will win the league. That's a given as we're the best team.

BUT! The f**k-up behind the scenes with RW has clearly affected things on the pitch.

We were out of luck today. If someone can please explain how Howard stayed on that pitch, I'd be interested. Not to mention at least 2 legit penalties turned down. We don't have have the fergie factor, clearly.

We also learnt today why Cech has to wear his rugby mask. Nasty by Cahill.

We have Lamps back next week, Essian, I want to see young Josh out there and hopefully Drogba will finally shake off the effects of Malaria.

Normal service will be resumed soon, but we need to buy in January and we will.

unbelievable

i think hughton has huge potential as a manager.
not only did he take them straight back up into the prem (against the odds) but they are holding their own & well placed in 11th position.

when will these chairmen & boardroom members ever learn? :?

i'm sure the players & fans are none to pleased :|

a few weeks back they were thrashing their bitter enemies 5-1 followed by a 0-1 win at the emirates ( :cuss: )

i think there's a lot more to this story than we know at present :|

It is truly amazing, a freshly promoted team, almost half way through the season, only four points behind the 6th team in the Premier League and doing very, very decently. But then again, how many times have we seen this with Newcastle in the last decade or so, could there be something wrong with the board?

Proof of the pudding will be if they now start to win more, or end up at or near the bottom by the end. If the latter, I'm moving house to Liverpool next season. :D Pete

Liverpool has been playing quite well of late, 3-0 this evening. I guess the million dollar question is what happens if they don't play as well once Gerrard returns? As BaaBaa mentioned, he is all over the field and hard to disipline. Could it be that they're a more productive team without him? Pete

Never a truer word said Baabaa. Ridiculous!!!! We're all still trying to figure out what Houghton did wrong???
We won the championship with 102 points,we're half way up the league and for once we're playing half decent football!! Is the fat controller looking for a big name to manage the club???? Jol is looking like the favourite at the mo,with Curbishly and O'neil being mentioned too but why would any of them want to come to goerdieland and get treated like that.
Chris Houghton was a true gentleman and was turning out to be a bloody good manager. In time the nufc board could well rue the day they got rid of him!!

Gerrard will be rightfully put straight back into the side, he's a matchwinner, but he should be either out on the right or supporting Torres, not in the centre.

The massively improving Lucas and Meireles are developing a nice understanding in the middle and should be first choice.

Newcastles form is a bit erratic, they're beating teams you wouldn't expect and losing to teams they should be beating, bizzarely if they had the same amount of points but had lost to the likes of Arsenal but beat teams like Blackpool I bet he'd still be in a job.
