Has to be said, I would have gone straight for Razor Blades/Razors, but seeing DM's answer, of course the company's name was "Wilkinson Sword" which I remember well (just not thinking swords). However, looking it up Wilkinson originally made guns!
Though obviously best known for and making their money through "blades".

I don't know why, but I always thogught he was an Everton goalkeeper, though I'm sure that's not right! I actually looked this up recently, and although I can't remember the details, he was someone who was known for his outrageous behaviour.
