Ok. This post is about downloading movies I think.
You download a movie---- it doesn,t play and then your computer doesn,t like you any more.
Why bring in the neighbours kids? and then mention their mothers?
Just to make it clear. My neighbours kids are fine
u torrent
Yes it is about downloading movies but you can get fined for downloading those movies as it is illegal, Ray123 was suggesting, if you were to get a letter/fine, that you could blame the illegal downloading on nextdoors kids using your WIFI connection.flyfifer wrote:Ok. It has nothing to do with a movie not playing, your PC not liking you or indeed the Kids Mothers, reread what he said, basically to tell the people trying to fine you to F*** off as you dont even know what a Torrent is.
Heres a very good site i've being using for years and never downloaded a fake from there yet.
http://torrentfive.com/
movies on here 6 months sometimes 6 months before there out in major or egv here.
edit just to add that no registration is needed at that site. click movies on side and then the name of movie.

Sorry for the delay.BaaBaa. wrote:Guess, how good is this PeerGuardian? (already downloaded)
I don't know is the short answer. My suspicion are that, although it might make surveillance more difficult for the authorities, it cannot be 100% guarabteed safe.
Britain is number 1 in the world of surveillance and DVDs generate a lot of tax revenue. If they got a sniff of you they would get you no matter what you do. Just look at the TV licence campaign.
However Guardian and a few other tricks in uTorrent might help.
My advice to anybody who wants to download movies or software via torrents is do not do it in the UK, Germany, Holland, France or Scandinavia.
I believe you are OK with TV recordings even if they are actually ripped from paid for DVDs. The copyright laws are completely different for transmitted material. This is why DJs "crash" all tunes played on the radio and also TOTP (if it is still going) re-records the music and has a load of clapping and cheering at the beginning and the end.
TV movies is a gray area but in general anything you can download from thebox.bz is OK. The onus of responsibility is on the uploader and the site and I have never heard of any prosecutions like there has been with Demonoid and a few others.
BTW, despite what ray123 says about a particular site, new movies and pre-releases are statistically the ones that are more likely to get you caught. They are also the ones that the distributors use to put viruses and other malware out to the offenders.
