How about Octopussy's for the Ian Fleming one (I think it was one of the lesser well known Bond books and movies) ?

I'm clueless as regards the Lobster......

Teabone,

Well done (and no I am not ordering lunch) you are spot on on both. I'll just have to get tougher with clues and maybe start up a special thread for Jockey.

A Yorkie or a Lancy with any other name is still a Yorkie or a Lancy.

Teabone,

If you solve this one I will buy you a beer and to remind everybody:

Wish I could, but not a good idea. The dogs at my house are already going crazy with all the fireworks! Happy New Year to you & your lovely wife!

Actually, it was a bit of an easy one for me - it's the bar where my boyfriend used to hang out & where his friends work! :P

Ken, are you serious or just taking this totally off topic? For sole sponsorship (you are the only one sponsoring that dog) it's 7,000 bt per year or 3,500bt for 6 months. Multi sponsorship is cheaper at 1,800 bt per year & 900bt for 6 months.

OK, :offtopic:

The answer is Yes to both questions. I'll sponsor a dog for 2007 (sole sponsorship) and yes I was deliberately taking it off topic. Sorry.

Hope to get a little chance to enjoy myself tonight but not holding my breath. Maybe I'll manage to squeeze in one or two.

Actually, Dawn, I managed to squeze in more than a few and had a visit from JD and JW about an hour ago, you would have been very welcome.

So take it as read, that I will sponsor two dogs in 2007. Guess and Crawford or whatever. Up to you. Will pm you to sort out details. Happy new year.

Guess - no problems about being pipped and I hope all went well last night.
You (or anyone else) might like to exercise your grey matter with this -

All the very best to all for 2007 / 2550.

Thanks for the Beer and good company Ken, all the very best for 2007.

I'm not sure what the cocktail you gave me was, but my head was thumping a bit when I came round today, needed two mugs of tea just to contemplate starting work. ImageImage
