Locations that serve a "good" American / English breakfast.

Restaurants, food, beverage, hawkers, and local markets and suppliers. This is the place for discussion on Hua Hin's culinary options.

Good idea

I shall continue posting my reviews of English Brekky places such as Nits Euro Deli Andreannas Yings etc etc.

And I will continue to comment on other aspects apart from just the food such as the staff service, the ambience and of course the price.

If people don't care about the price then they can just ignore that aspect

Now you mention Euro Deli, do you still have to remove your shoes before entering? I've never experienced it for just that reason.

Yes I think I have slipped my shoes off in the past as that seems the protocol

So I prefer to eat outside there, but if people are smoking out there then that's an issue too. Not ideal that place. Plus whilst the food is pretty good it's never hot despite my repeated requests and just not as good as Nits and it's more expensive.

If you eat inside and other diners are talking/laughing the noise is quite unbearable. It's simply the way the unit is fitted out. Fine as a food shop but far from ideal as a dine in cafe.

However if you dine out as a group of 4 you probably wouldn't care. As a mostly solo diner I do care(as an aside inside Ogen can be like that too. Recently went with Thai lady and she completely agreed that we couldn't hear ourselves think in there so we went somewhere else)

And before I'm slagged off for that comment then a 10 year resident of HH (who recently opened a bar doing English breakfasts in 94 ) who's eaten just about everywhere in HH, made exactly the same comment about Euro Deli before I did on Facebook

It's just a cacophony of noise in there unless you're pretty much on your own

If people don't care about the dining experience(and only the food) then fair enough, but I like to have at least some peace and quiet when I'm eating

I've had breakfasts all over the world. Some good, some not so good, but it's an individual opinion.
I've certainly not gone to the trouble of searching out what would be ideal for me. Everyone's different.
Colonel seems to be on some sort of mission. He has to understand that what's good for him is not necessarily good for others.
Personal opinions are fine but that's exactly what they are. Don't preach to others based upon your own taste. It only highlights your intransigent nature!

So have I

But youre comments are mostly incorrect!

Im simply expressing my opinion

I'm not telling anyone to actually do or think anything

Where am I saying that people must go here or there and not go here/there?

Just saying what I like and don't like about breakfast experiences

What's so hard about that to understand?

Eg have I ever said that someone's opinion about a certain Brekky place was wrong?

Of course what I say is only my personal opinion. Why do you feel the need to point out the bleeding obvious?

Does it make you feel better in some way?

Is BB "on a mission" when he reviews Brekky places?

Probably - in search of a decent sausage. Much of the rest is fairly standard, just cooked/presented differently.

You mean you'll stop posting aggressive and borderline offensive personal remarks about people who disagree with you? It woud be nice, but I don't believe it....

I think we'd agree the Zabwer/Burgers & Beer sausages are large and excellent.

The owner prides himself on locating his sausage supplier. He had to change a few years ago but no decline in quality. And the toad in the hole is mammoth (on topic if that's your idea of breakfast, I'll eat anything at any time of day).

Yes, most certainly a top 3 sausage in Hua Hin for my taste buds. I wasn't too sure when I saw it, but yes, it was good. Probably double the size of most Hua Hin breakfast sausages also. Only Harry's sausage is larger.

No issue with people disagreeing with me

However when they make completely unrelated, inaccurate and unjustified negative remarks(peanuts, out of touch... oh btw, now 25 places, still counting) then I will respond, as others do btw, I'm far from the only one.

You're the aggressive one, I'm just posting about bacon and eggs and TV shows

The personal remarks have been made against me(intransigent, mundane life) not by me

I will continue to post about English brekkies. If you want to get offensive and argumentative in your replies so be it.

I tried Nits today, good breakfast with a nice sausage. Full English 180b includes 2 eggs, large sausage, 2 back bacon, beans, tinned tomatoes and fried potatoes, 2 toast, orange juice and Tea/Coffee.

The only thing I didnt like was the sweet bread served as toast.

All in all a very good breakfast and now I need a sleep.

Mikeyb, have the fried bread instead

It doesn't taste greasy and is the best I've ever tasted anywhere in the world!

Does Nit have any end time for breakfast? The reason I ask is we have a friend arriving from the UK very soon who used to like a Nit's breakfast when she was opposite Initial. Problem is, his day normally starts after midday. If its an all day breakfast, I will give it a go with him. My opinion of when she was opposite Initial was OK - nothing special, but I'm willing to be won over. Mikeyb's listing does sound like excellent value.
