Won one of their last 5 at home.
I must admit, my prediction yesterday that they would finish above you is looking very shaky right now....
With these combinations of injuries and covid for most teams it's becoming a little harder to predict the outcome of matches as the '1st elevens' are an unknown quantity

Yup, looks like City are going to run away with it again. Though the two teams they've lost to is a bit weird. Crystal Palace and Nuno's Tottenham.Dannie Boy wrote: ↑Thu Dec 30, 2021 6:50 amUnless your team name begins with a M and ends with a Ythecolonel wrote: ↑Thu Dec 30, 2021 6:37 amWhat a shame!Lost wrote:Next three league games for Chelsea...

I don't trust children. They're here to replace us.

We're only half way through the season, and that doesn't count the ever increasing make-up games that will have to be played. The season may go well into June, so plenty of time for some surprises concerning the top 4.

I tell you what, if Chelsea end up winning all three of these against us, you may not see Lost in the football section for some time.

I have never supported Chelsea before.

Woke up this morning breathing that's a good start to the day.

Re: Premier League 2021-22
I think Chelsea now have more injuries that covid affected players - 7 for the latter. Already injured players are replacing the new ones, as in yesterdays game.
We have yet to have a covid induced break. Even when the club asked for a postponement, it was denied. I'm sure there must be others, but it's hard to think of one.
We really could do with a break. From our defence alone, only Rudiger hasn't been injured. It's clearly taking it's toll. Probably explains Liverpools result the other night as well.

Losing your goalkeeper to the AFCON soon, too. It's a real shame that.caller wrote: ↑Thu Dec 30, 2021 10:23 pm I think Chelsea now have more injuries that covid affected players - 7 for the latter. Already injured players are replacing the new ones, as in yesterdays game.

At least you have Lindosfan1 on your side for January, though. Mind you, I only said the football section may not see me for a while if Spurs lose them all. There's no guarantees.

Lukaku is out there today shitting on his current manager Tuchel and publicly declaring his wish to return to Inter. Surely that's the end of his return to Chelsea?

Sadly I think this will become the norm going forward.Lost wrote:Lukaku is out there today shitting on his current manager Tuchel and publicly declaring his wish to return to Inter. Surely that's the end of his return to Chelsea?
Big shot players blaming things on their managers.
They'll even start putting in their contracts they they can say how they feel at certain times and I think some clubs will accept it just to sign them
Player power has grown too big.
Ps good to see great goal from Lennon, ex Everton and Spurs and has had more than his fair share of mental anguish off the pitch. Even though it didn't affect result much....

Agree with all of the above.
Tuchel has just spoken on the Lukaku situation this morning in his press conference.
If I'm a Chelsea fan, I'm booing Lukaku on his next appearance. Booing loooudly! That's if he appears for Chelsea again.

I doubt he'll be booed. Sounds like mischievious journalism and / or poor translation to me.

Re: Premier League 2021-22
Nah, he openly criticised the boss' system. Basically suggesting he could manage the team better. Lukaku doesn't want to be there. He's going to down tools and rock up to training in a few weeks time in the same shape he was when he played for United.
