If so what's the verdict ??
Yes, very nice aircon restaurant. It had a previous existance as a restaurant before Mukti.

The food was excellent, what my friend and I had was up their with Atcha, where we have been numerous times.

However, the menu is very limited. Unless that has changed? When I first saw their menu online, I assumed there were a few pages missing, but nope, what I saw is all there was, basically less than 2 sides of A4, for everything, so limited curry's, starters, nan's at al.

They do have lunch specials which seem to be very well recived.

Off street parking at the front of the restaurant, which is on the Pala-U Rd.
Thank you, might try their lunch specials

I was thinking the same regarding lunch specials, but there's no mention on their web page. Do you have an example of what the specials consist of/price please?

From what I have read elsewhere, an example is Chicken Pakoras, Pabdi Chaat, poppadoms, that sort of stuff. No idea of price, but I assume competetive to get people through the door.

I have had two takeaways from Mukti.

Without a doubt the best Indian food I have had in Hua Hin in the 15 years I have been here.

I am sure that their menu will increase over time.

I 'followed' them on Facebook and have received various updates on their specials etc.

Thank you for that. Unfortunately I'm too fussy an eater for it to be for me. There are too many things I wouldn't eat. Yes, I know, I know, I'm my own worst enemy most of the time.

1 Chicken Masala
1 Mixed Dal
1 Basmati Rice
1 Soft Drink

Would have seen me well happy, especially at lunchtime, but what is on that menu would have resulted in waste, which to me is as bad as poor food. Yes, I could say don't serve the other dishes, but then I'd feel I was seeing myself off, or paying too much.

I've looked at their regular menu, but that is a little too pricey for a lunchtime treat. A shame, but I'll give that one a miss.

The Thali is small taster pots of different dishes. Overall its not much bigger than a normal meal and rice.

Yes, but being a very fussy eater, there is stuff in the other dishes that I would never eat. 110% my own fault. There is just too much variety in the lunchtime specials for me - great for other people i.e. my son would love it.

Suppose it depends if you get 1 or 2 of those platters.
Normally in Indian Restaurants you get one each.

I just took a takeaway to try them, I'll eat it later. Very nice restaurant and staff. Complementary puppadums and chutnies while I waited. Small beers are 100 Baht, I guess not a total ripoff for a nice place. Quiet at 12.00 noon but one table of four Thais came in to eat. Yes, I was a tad disappointed at the limited menu but was aware before I went; no potato dishes which I love. A while after I ordered I saw jalfrezi and vindaloo on the specials board which aren't on the printed menu. My bad. :)

We went out to Atcha yesterday evening. The extension/bigger space certainly makes a huge difference. Food was as good as ever.
