Listings I've seen do not include a Pfizer booster for those who have received Moderna as their first two shots.
I asked the question last week while getting a Pfizer booster, and although the person was not fully knowledgeable, she indicated that Moderna base shots need to have a Moderna booster. I think she said this mainly because her Bangkok Hospital group doesn't list Moderna recipients as eligible for a Pfizer booster.
Anyone have more insight on this?

Don't think so. You should phone up to check. This information may be out of date as it's been on the web site since mid-March but never mentioned in the FB page. I would think Bluport or Red Cross are more convenient anyway.

According to
AARP Pfizer would be OK as a booster after 2 x Moderna after a gap of 5 months.

Yep, I agree re other options.
I was just curious and maybe others were too
My history of telephoning HHH is absolutely diabolical. They don't answer, if they do they cut you off, they ask you to explain your query then transfer you to someone without explaining your query to new person.
And I'm including the premium clinic in that who really should give an International standard telephone query service but they are not chuffing interested in helping you one bit. Their attitude stinks.
Simply put they don't want telephone calls, certainly not from farangs. And as a result I don't want to call them!
That's why I asked you were it was. It may be in the main hospital itself

I haven't been there since pre-COVID-19. The check-up centre used to be on the 2nd floor in the building behind the main front building. Things have changed a lot there I think.

I haven't seen anything from a reputable medical authority, or based on clinical study data, that says you must only have Moderna booster after a prime series of Moderna doses.
In the US, for example (where Moderna was widely used) the FDA has authorized the use of mix-and-match booster doses using any of the available COVID-19 vaccines, based on NIAID clinical study data.

I have seen a number of articles that seem to suggest that overall, the mRNA vaccines are better as booster doses than non-mRNA vaccines. The results of the ComCov study in the UK for instance, seem to point in that direction.

Hua Hin Red Cross are still doing Covid vaccinations, every weekday. Although the FB page says 8 - 12 noon I was told to be there before 11am when I phoned to enquire. They also told me only Pfizer, but that could change.
Anyhow, I went there for my 4th shot, having missed bluport yesterday.
Arrived 10.30. Filled consent form. Went to vaccination room. 10.45 back in car. No silly 30 minute wait after vaccination.
(Btw They are also doing flu jabs.)

Do you know if there is any waiting time between Covid & Flu jabs. I know when I had my first Covid jab (seems a million years ago now) one of the stipulations back then was that you mustn't have had your Flu jab within so many (I think it was

weeks. I actually missed my Flu jab last year, having decided Covid was more important.
