If my memory serves me right wasn't that one of the first televised live games, home to Forest? 2-1

Skysports, what a bunch of Wankers.

The made up story of last week was that Lazio were interested in Mascherano, I'm interested in Angelina Jolie but Im not sure its going to happen.

This weeks pearl of wisdom is ..................

"Skrtel is currently sidelined with a knee injury but looks set to return before Christmas.

The 23-year-old, though, is also said to be unhappy about his lack of appearances for the club."

:? :? :? :? :?

I very much doubt hes expecting to play when hes recovering from a knee injury.

Speaking of which, Gallas clearly wants another transfer. Not man enough to ask for one and forfeit loyalty bonus, insteads engineers it by mouthing off in press.
Not aimed at Arsenal, but many of the modern day primadonnas.

the sooner he's gone, the better :D
i thought he was superb at chelsk & would be a good addition as part of the cashley cole deal, but he's hardly been a great success :(
he's a poor captain, a poor leader & not a very good example to the younger players :?
his antics at brum last season were a disgrace & possibly the beginning of the end.
his latest outburst in the press could well be his final contribution at the emirates & if it were my decision, it would be
not quite sure it's a primadonna action, but bad attitude & misconduct all the same

Gallas tried to resign as captain but was too late, Wenger had already sacked him and left him behind for the trip to Man C. All good teams need a British defender as captain, look at Chelsea, Liverpool and Man U. A Brit understands the English game and what it means to the fans, so come on Arsene and spend some of the money you have in January.

Yeah fair play to Wenger for taking action.
And fair play to me for the first time in my life saying something positive about Wenger :D

So, reading between the lines, does this equate (in a tabloid journalists mind) to 'Matt Upson to Arsenal as captain' seeing as their ain't many English defenders available? In fact it will probably become 'Green and Upson to Gunners in double swoop on Hammers' given the way the press have a habit of linking our best players away every transfer window...and of course there is the 'Cash strapped Hammers accept 5p and a bag of crisps' line they can take as well :cuss:

Another strange day in the Premier League, none of the "Top 4" scored (I still include Arsenal in that, sympathetically   )

100/1 at the bookies.

I think Wengers time may be running out. They were a mess today and he has no adequate central defenders or keeper.

Dreadful today and have lost too many now to challenge the leaders and may lose out to Villa for 4th.

if he had spent the amounts of most other clubs, then yes.
for what he has achieved at the academy, no way in a million years
the only way is if he leaves of his own accord

yes we were crap today & last week for that matter :(
there aren't many teams that could survive the loss of 7/8 first choice players, especially with a lightweight squad like ours :(
unfortunately we don't have a sugar daddy to buy £20/30 million players & pay £100 thousand plus a week wages :?

i expect the funds wenger does have, will be spent in the january sales, but unfortunately it will be all to late by then.
this was my prediction before the season began, it was bad enough losing hleb & flamini but not replacing them & relying on the youngsters was a little over optimistic in my opinion.

Liverpool without Gerrard, no goals, Man U with an off form Ronaldo, no goals, are they both one trick ponies?
