It honestly blows my mind sometimes, all this clique bullshit. If the clique means normal people, who can comprehend the difference between advertising and a recommendation then I agree.

If people can't grasp the basic rules they are retarded. It's not fucking complicated.

Hey guys

Let's back off and get back on topic.

SJ your comments de spite being alarming have cliqued into place.

Yes there are certain places I frequent where I have answered a question and then of course responded to follow on questions. What should I do? Ignore them?

I do not profit from any bars and restaurants in HH by praising them contrary to the belief of a few ( the pack)

Let's give the Mexican a fair run or he will scarper and we (the members) will suffer as always from lack of info and have to gain it from the HH grapevine

Bye :run:

Ok, you don’t like the word clique. Wanabe moderators is more like it, sorry. Always the same lot quoting the law and rules of the forum. Let the mod’s do their job.
And by the way if I were standing in front of you would you call me a retard? I doubt it very much. Speak nicely; there is no need to use remarks like that. To post (speak) as if you are standing with the posters would be preferable.

Well b*ll*cks to all you ''cliquey'' people and you members of the so called ''pack'' :duck:

I'm heading over to Hua Hin in under 3 weeks, so personally let's get back to Alberto and others not promoting the restaurant........ but giving some ''impartial reviews''!!

I for one shall be visiting. Oh, and it's all SJ's fault - he started the thread. :tsk: :duck:

Not because of a lack of trying.

No, I doubt I'd acknowledge you to be honest.

Harry Bosch wrote:Careful Edtxag, see what’s happened to poor old Richard, in fact be very careful - in your one post it started. You’ve upset the clique by answering a post and letting the rest of the world know some facts about your business
I'm not sure where you're coming from there, I started the thread giving information about the place and asking if anyone had eaten there and had any more info. Richard then posted gossip about wp's followed by his usual nonsense about how he's supposedely been treated unfairly.

No information about the establishment, just using the thread as a platform to air his gripes all over again.

Never tried and never will. If I wanted to make money I wouldn't do it in Thailand. You have to be a wank** to even think about it

SJ

My original response to your OP post actually came from the horses mouth I later found out. So much for trying to help the community to benefit from info.

That wasn't a response to my OP, I never asked for any gossip about wp's, I'm not interested in all that cr@p, true or not. That's your game not mine.

Community to benefit!? from that sort of titilation!? me and you have very different views on things.

Gents,

Can we please stop this bickering, and get the thread back on track. Firstly, I would like to point out a few things:

- edtxag's post was not moderated. By his own admission he was one of 2 owners, and he was telling people how his business was going to develop in coming days. As a new member, rather than delete his informative post, I gave him the benefit of the doubt. Of course I pointed him towards the terms and conditions that we've all signed up to in respect of self promotion in an attempt to prevent future rule breaking.

- edtxag stated how impressed he was at the speed this forum was spreading the word about his business. I was being helpful by pointing out how he could legitimately publicise his business for less than 9 Baht per day.

- The forum's T&Cs are very clear in how you should comment on/criticise Moderator actions. I and my colleagues will happily field your questions regarding any action you might believe we have taken, providing the forum's rules are followed. We will not become involved in a squabble on the open forum. Please continue further comment on Moderator actions in the correct method.

Can we please continue this thread with some reviews on edtxag's product. Good or bad, I for one would love to hear how forum members rate this new restaurant.

My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?
