Actually, I'd missed the edit. Gregjam, are you saying HHH are issuing vaccine certificates now? Or did you use a different hospital. My friends who went to Bluport 2 weeks ago weren't issued with one.

May I ask, is this a HHH thing with not issuing a vaxx cert after your 2nd jab or has anyone else had problems with any other hospital or vaxx centre?
It wasn't a second jab and I'm not sure if I'd say it's a problem necessarily but after I got my 3rd dose in Cha-am, they didn't issue a certificate (or any kind of paper certifying I'd had the shot).
When I asked, they said I'd have to come back to pick it up and to call the number that was posted on a column in the 30-minute waiting area, after a week. That was a Saturday and also Christmas day, so even if they had been open I wasn't going to go there then so I didn't call them yet.
I'm away till after New Year's so I'll see about it when I get back.

The Municipality in Cha Am are issuing the certificates, my wife collected both of ours today.

No it does not have a QR code. It is a pink card with my details including passport number and stickers/signatures etc to prove the date and time the doses were given.
My bad as I should have asked.

Were actually away for about a week, spending New Year at the wife's sister's place. I'll check on it when we get back.

When we checked ours there was an error on mine so we went back to try to get it corrected. It turns out that the certificates are actually produced at the Cha Am Hospital, so we were advised to go there. This we did and after speaking to a number of people we found the small team who produce the certificates. Having explained what was wrong the woman my wife spoke to said they would correct the mistake, but they couldn’t issue the certificate immediately, we have to go back tomorrow to collect it - hopefully they’ll be a “happy ending”, but I’ll provide an update in due course.

I ended up going to Hua Hin Hospital and they have issued me with a piece of paper which has the magic 13 digit number, a QR code and is a kind of certificate. It also has all the information relating to my two vaccinations at Bluport. I have been told to go back in February for the Vaccine Passport (I think). I had to pay 50 baht which I assume is an administration fee. Able assistance was given by a family member who knows someone in the hospital so I very much stayed in the background through all this so no guarantee it will be as smooth for others.
Once I have the next document I will update again to try and give this some closure but for now, anyone who has had their jabs and wants something other than the pink record card is recommended to go to the hospital after the new year.

Just to complete my story, we went to Cha Am Hospital this morning and collected my vaccine certificate showing full details of my three vaccinations

I never knew that vaccination certificates were a problem locally. Fortunately those that had their shots courtesy of the BCCT where issued these certificates at the same time as getting the 2nd shot. Another feather in the cap for efficiency.
It begs the question that if they can do it why is it a problem with other hospitals.

Cha Am hospital issued certificates on the day of vaccine too, so not all hospitals have a problem.

Not just HHH. My granddaughter was vaccinated in a hospital somewhere in Bangkok. She didn't receive a certificate.

The fact that yesterday and Monday are holidays and it’s the weekend, I’d be very surprised if there will be anything announced until after Tuesday.
