The US series English Teacher is quite funny, tackling wokeness in the school and how tricky it is to deal with. Maybe a 7/10 but easy to dip in and out of when you have a little time to kill. It will probably offend people who are anti-gay though.
I just want to bump English Teacher - having finished the series it's not mostly about what I said at all. It's a great series (9/10) about all human relationships, with several moments each episode (dialogue, not situations) which make me chuckle aloud which is not usual for me.
Yes you need to be a little broadminded sexually but there's no nudity, sex or swearing at all. It's feelgood for sure, and hits home in a tender and humorous way.

Holding off on Silo until I finish the first book its based on - 'Wool' by Hugh Howey. It is a trilogy so I guess this series has far to go.
Looked up on this one - might just give the books a go (the first at least for now ) - thanks for the Heads Up!
"Renewal and Future Seasons:The series has been renewed for a third season and a concluding fourth season, which will continue to adapt the Silo trilogy of novels by Hugh Howey."
"Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things" - Yma o Hyd.
I've found this website very useful: https://www.bookseriesinorder.com/hugh-howey/
but I'm slightly confused on the silo trilogy as it gives the publication order and the chronological order, which are not the same.

That's 21minutes I'll never recover! Cliched and predictable.
Give AP Bio a whirl. If you laughed at English Teacher this will make you pee your pants.

As I said, the series shouldn't be judged by the first one or even two episodes. It's more than that. Not comedy for the ages but there are nuggets in there, mostly in the form of relationships between the characters. Repeating: what I enjoyed was not the (predictable) situational humour.
Another one on ITV, a six part drama called Out There, starring amongst others Martin Clunes. Starts off a bit slow but starts warming up from episode 2 and gets better all the way, although let down by the climax in the last episode (it seemed like instead of having another episode, it was too condensed), but overall a good watch.
Just finished watching this five episode drama based on the true story of the Lockerbie bombing. Overall I found it to be rather good and enlightening. Well worth a watch. Stars Colin Firth

I started on this one, it's a little slow, as you say, but still watchable.
The White Lotus has just started season 3, and while I thought the first two were a little asinine, I'll watch this as it's in Thailand.
Running low on stuff to watch in general though and going back to downloading nature docos. Anything new out there (not a fan of cop dramas or murder mysteries)?

Its definitely worth a watch, if only for the setting. The reference to the prevalence of older white bald guys with younger women in Thailand made me laugh.
