I had registered for a Pfizer Jab Aug 3rd. Friends that registered on Aug 1st had theirs a couple weeks ago. I haven't heard anything at all. My wife, who, knowing how excited I am to get it, frequently accuses me of deleting the email telling me when my time is. She finally called BKK hospital today, they found me very quickly, and then sent an e-mail saying it should be Sept 21-23, further email coming.

Just to say, the app is still calling for me to go to get vaccinated. I've probably had more appointments for a vaccine than an army general. My next appointment is the 14th September. I think they want me to become a vaccine junkie

Actually, I think I've worked out what happened. I was registered by the hospital with a 6000000****** number, and everything was going fine. Then they somehow switched my details to the number on my pink ID, giving the illusion I've never been vaccinated.

Frankly there were far far too many people signing up for every vaccination appointment they could, it was a very selfish way to go and no doubt caused problems for many people who were delayed getting the first jab eg applications via the web sites closed down within hours of opening etc etc
There are plenty of examples of these selfish persons on this web site making and then receiving 3-4 appointments to the detriment of others, who then had to wait for many weeks.

I agree, and whilst I too signed up for several (they were making 2 apps a week available on which to register, and nobody knew which would work), as soon as one came through, I made sure I cancelled everything else. My problems have been inflicted because of IT, and somebody transferring my record, without me actually making my ID Card available. I offered it at registration, and it was refused.

[Edit] In fact my successful registration was manual, without me entering anything to an IT system.

After reading this, I decided to check my own record on Mor Prom. I originally registered using my Pink ID number. However, when I made an appointment at Cha Am hospital they insisted on generating a new ID: 600000172xxxx which showed up with the appointment data on Mor Prom. I cancelled that appointment because I got an earlier date with AstraZeneca at Phayathai 2. I tried to get them to enter the vaccination data using my "real" ID, but they insisted on using the one fabricated by Cha Am Hospital.

At that point I was able to log in to Mor Prom using either ID#. The fake ID showed (and still shows) the AZ vaccine while the real ID showed nothing.

However, when I tried to log on to Mor Prom this morning using my real ID, it says that I never registered. The fake ID account is still there.

Tomatoes, tomatoes, some may call it selfish others may call it forward thinking and planning. Personally I had 3 options and when I got my appointment I cancelled the other two options.

No sour grapes then?

In theory, yes ... get one appt, cancel the rest. But working for the airlines ... that doesn't work, as people don't do the right thing.

Why airlines don't accept reservations that aren't paid for. They learned their lessons long ago, and got burned too many times overbooking flights.

If we lived in a perfect world, yes .... but

We do the same when booking hotels, we'll call & cancel, and they usual express great thanks when we do. Sad that others are so inconsiderate.

As pointed out 'creating fake IDs', they seem to be creating their own mess. Nothing standardized and constantly changing. I'd be suspect when I show up, would they accept the 'fake ID' and then turn you away. TIT
