I've rang the number Nereus provided and they are estimating 5,000 for a replacement screen so I would like to know if Mr Don can do it any cheaper.

Thanks Pet, I only had that landline number, finally got a reply on the mobile number so I will drive up there soon, I haven't been on the 'dark side' for a couple of years, I presume that building on BB's map where he has relocated to is some sort of mall?

I went before reading those last posts, I thought the squares on the map represented units in a market or mall so of course I couldn't find it! (I still can't find Thai waii in PNP!). I went in the True shop nearby and they rang him and explained where he is. For those like me who can't find it from the map, after the 7/11 there are a couple of blocks of shophouses, then a small empty overgrown lot then on a corner a blue painted small shop that's closed, turn left here then first right and he runs it from his front yard! If you reach East West Cafe then you have gone too far.
He rang me later with a price as he has to order the part from Bkk, 2,500 Baht incl his labour to repair the screen on a Acer laptop.

For some reason my pc is not able to find web sites all of a sudden. The wifi works fine, I'm using to post this via my phone.

I'll gladly pay someone to come over and get my pc working.

Problem solved. Had to uninstall the network adapter and reboot.

My PC runs Windows 7.
I've had the problem for the last week that individual programs stop working. I get the error message "*** (program) has stopped working. I then have to close and reopen.
This mainly affects Word, Thunderbird and Firefox though only one program at a time.
Any ideas on how to rectify this please?

Hello,

I seem to have been unceremoniously kicked out of YouTube.
Most probably on account of a cd that I own & uploaded some years ago for the benefit
of other YouTubers.

So I'll have to forgo my channel that I spent a lot of time & energy on.

How can I gain access to YouTube via my wife's Google/gmail account? Just to listen! No more uploading!
I cannot register a YouTube account on my wife's behalf,
because I keep on getting directed to my own, blocked account, as soon as I click on YouTube.
Perhaps I should try to delete my account first?

Any ideas/suggestions would be appreciated.

You need to be physically in a location you have never used and on a computer you have never used.

You could try going through one of those "hide my IP" sites, but I don't know if it would work.

You are blocked by your IP address.
