It's not that Pfizer runs out exactly but there is some data suggesting that it may not be as protective after 4 months or more, especially when measured in terms of infection from the Delta variant.

However that's based mainly (as far as I know) on some data from Israel. Data from the UK on the other hand, shows it as maintaining a much better level of efficacy than the Israeli data.

The thing about efficacy figures is that they're dependent on time, location and the characteristics of the population segment being tested.

Efficacy figures from a different location, done at a different time and involving different groups of people, will give different results.

The bottom line for me is that even the Israeli figures, while showing lower efficacy against infection, showed the vaccine was still very effective at preventing serious illness, hospitalisation or death.

Having said that, various countries are moving towards giving 3rd booster doses so that's probably the way we're all going to go eventually.

Hospital was manic, so I decided against Vaccine Record today. I have a little card with my vaccine data anyway, so it isn't lost.

It was manic because they are dealing with 4 distinct vaccination groups today (hhinner has already mentioned) list to follow for Tapatalkers:

• Mor Prom - Astra Zeneca

• Mor Prachuap Prom - Sinovac

• Hua Hin Municipality - Sinopharm

• Walk-in - Sinovac (I think)

Then there was routine hospital business, and Mondays are always busy.

I forgot to mention (especially for BB) that the CA certificate indeed does have a QR code!!

BUT if you who need to travel to a foreign country in the next three months and have completed two shots of Covid-19 vaccine, you can apply for a Certificate of Immunisation, otherwise known as the Covid Yellow Book.
I think it's worth getting, will probably save any hassle in destination countries

Walk-in is 1pm to 3pm. 9th floor car park building. First 500 get it.

I got this Email today from Sandra Pitter <evansan@live.com.au>:

As you register for Pfizer vaccine from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Ministry of Foreign Affairs Confirmed receipt of such vaccination to the hospital where you has registered. The hospital, Confirmed Pfizer Vaccination on 24/08/2021 from 08:30 am - 04:00 pm.
Please prepare the certificate 1.Passport or a copy of your Passport.
Please confirm with a Url : .........

Seems a bit strange from Australia and does not mention any hospital. As I got Pfizer from Medpark, I did not confirm. has anyone else got such a mail?

Also the Email adresses of all recipients can be read.

I just received the same email from a Kamonchanok Leseananprecha sent from a gmail address. Looks bogus to me too

Yes, if all those insecure Thai apps and websites have leaked user's email addresses already, prepare for a wave of phishing attacks using dodgy emails such as these. Don't click any links in them unless you know exactly what they are - its the easiest way to get malware on your computer.
